Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Cardiologist to join our esteemed Cardiology Department at a hospital in New Delhi New Delhi. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive cardiovascular care, including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of heart and vascular diseases. This role demands a high degree of expertise, patient care, and a commitment to advancing the field through research and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care: Diagnose and treat a wide range of cardiovascular conditions. Perform and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures, such as ECGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and catheterizations. Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management, lifestyle modifications, and interventional procedures. Monitor and follow up with patients to assess treatment efficacy and adjust plans as necessary. Provide preoperative and postoperative care for patients undergoing cardiac surgery.

Clinical Duties: Conduct outpatient and inpatient consultations. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Participate in on-call rotations to provide continuous patient care coverage.

Research and Education: Engage in clinical research to contribute to the advancement of cardiovascular medicine. Publish findings in reputable medical journals and present at national and international conferences. Educate and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.

Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and quality assurance programs.

Qualifications: Education: DM or DNB degree from an accredited medical school. Completion of an accredited residency in Internal Medicine. Fellowship training in Cardiology.

Licensure and Certification: Valid state medical license.

Experience: Proven experience as a Cardiologist, with a strong clinical background. Proficiency in performing and interpreting cardiovascular diagnostic tests and procedures. Experience with advanced cardiac interventions (for interventional cardiologists) is a plus.
