Job Summary:
We are looking for Ophthalmologist to join our hospital in Vapi. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional eye care to patients, including diagnosing and treating various eye diseases and conditions. This role involves working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
Conduct thorough eye examinations using specialized equipment.
Diagnose and manage eye diseases, injuries, and disorders.
Prescribe corrective lenses and other treatments as necessary.
Perform surgical procedures such as cataract surgery, glaucoma treatments, and laser eye surgeries.
Provide post-operative care and follow-up consultations.
Collaboration:
Work with a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, and technicians to provide integrated patient care.
Refer patients to other specialists when necessary.
Education & Counseling:
Educate patients on maintaining eye health and the prevention of eye diseases.
Counsel patients regarding surgical options, risks, and expected outcomes.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Prepare reports on patient conditions, treatments, and progress.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and medical regulations.
Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards.
Qualifications:
MBBS degree with a specialization in Ophthalmology (MS/MD).
Valid medical license to practice in Gujarat.
Minimum of 0-20 years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting preferred.
Proficiency in performing a variety of ophthalmic procedures and surgeries.
Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to develop effective treatment plans.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Skills:
Advanced knowledge of ophthalmic instruments and techniques.
High level of manual dexterity and precision.
