Job Summary:

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatrician to join our esteemed medical team at a hospital in Vapi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care:
Conduct thorough examinations of newborns and children to monitor their growth and development. Diagnose and treat illnesses, medical conditions, and injuries. Prescribe medications, treatments, and therapies as appropriate. Provide preventive care, including vaccinations and health education to parents and guardians.

Clinical Duties:
Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as blood tests, x-rays, and other relevant procedures. Develop treatment plans based on diagnostic results. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patients. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Communication:
Effectively communicate with parents and guardians about their child’s health, treatment plans, and preventive care strategies. Address parental concerns and questions with empathy and professionalism. Provide clear instructions for at-home care and follow-up appointments.

Emergency Care:
Respond promptly to pediatric emergencies and provide necessary medical attention. Stabilize patients and refer them to specialized care when needed.

Qualifications:
Medical degree (MBBS) from a recognized institution. MD or DNB in Pediatrics. Valid medical license to practice in Gujarat. Proven experience as a Pediatrician, preferably in a hospital setting. Strong understanding of child development and pediatric illnesses. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and in emergency situations. Compassionate, patient-centered approach to healthcare.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Proficiency in both Malayalam and English. Ability to perform minor pediatric procedures.
