Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Gynecologist to join our hospital in Idukki. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, including routine check-ups, prenatal and postnatal care, and surgical procedures. The Gynecologist will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities: Patient Care: Provide outpatient and inpatient gynecological services, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care for female reproductive health issues.
Obstetrics: Manage pregnancies, perform deliveries (including cesarean sections), and provide prenatal and postnatal care.
Surgical Procedures: Perform gynecological surgeries such as hysterectomies, laparoscopies, and other procedures as needed.
Consultations: Conduct consultations and counseling for patients regarding contraception, infertility, and menopause.
Screening and Prevention: Conduct routine screenings, such as pap smears, and advise patients on preventive health measures.
Collaboration: Work closely with other medical professionals and support staff to provide coordinated and comprehensive care.
Record Keeping: Maintain detailed patient records and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date.
Education: Educate patients and their families about reproductive health issues, treatment plans, and preventive care.


Qualifications: Education: MBBS with MD/MS/DNB/DGO in Obstetrics and Gynecology from a recognized institution. Licensure: Valid medical license to practice as a Gynecologist in India. Experience: Minimum of 0 to 20 years of experience as a Gynecologist. Experience in both obstetrics and gynecology is preferred.
