Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate General Surgeon to join our dedicated medical team to a hospital in Malappuram. The ideal candidate will perform a wide range of surgical procedures, manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care, and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Surgical Procedures: Perform a variety of surgical operations, including emergency and elective procedures, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety standards.
Patient Care: Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments, develop surgical plans, and provide post-operative care to ensure optimal patient recovery.
Diagnosis and Treatment: Evaluate patients' medical histories, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and diagnose conditions that require surgical intervention.
Collaboration: Work closely with anesthesiologists, nurses, and other medical staff to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and accurate medical records for all surgical patients, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and medical regulations.
Patient Education: Inform patients and their families about surgical procedures, potential risks, and post-operative care instructions.
Emergency Response: Respond promptly to surgical emergencies and provide immediate and effective treatment.
Continual Learning: Stay current with advancements in surgical techniques, technologies, and best practices to provide the highest standard of care.

Qualifications: Education: MBBS degree with a specialization in General Surgery from a recognized institution. Certification: Valid medical license to practice in Kerala. Experience: 0 to 20 years experienced. Skills: Excellent surgical skills, strong diagnostic abilities, effective communication, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications: Additional Certifications: Additional certifications in specialized areas of surgery are a plus.
