Job Summary:
a leading multispecialty hospital in Mumbai, India, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join our esteemed cardiac care team.
In this crucial role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive anesthetic care to patients undergoing cardiac surgeries, including:
Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG)
Valve replacements and repairs
Aortic surgeries
Minimally invasive cardiac procedures
Heart transplantation
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments to evaluate patients' fitness for cardiac anesthesia and optimize their medical condition for surgery.
Develop and implement individualized anesthetic plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and the specific surgical procedure.
Administer a comprehensive range of anesthetic medications and manage hemodynamic stability throughout the surgery.
Utilize advanced monitoring techniques to ensure patient safety and well-being during surgery.
Collaborate effectively with cardiac surgeons, perfusionists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Provide post-operative pain management and monitor patients' recovery in the intensive care unit (ICU).
Stay updated on the latest advancements in cardiac anesthesia through continuing medical education.
Qualifications:
MD degree in Anesthesiology with a specialization in Cardiac Anesthesia (DM/DNB) from a recognized institution.
Valid license to practice medicine in India.
A minimum of o to 20 years of experience working as a Cardiac Anesthesiologist in a hospital setting with a high volume of cardiac surgeries.
In-depth knowledge of cardiac physiology, pharmacology, and anesthetic techniques specific to cardiac surgery.
Exceptional clinical decision-making and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, surgeons, and other team members.
Strong leadership qualities and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
