Job Summary:

We have a job opening for Pediatric Surgeon to join our esteemed medical team in Sangamner. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and performing surgical procedures on pediatric patients. The Pediatric Surgeon will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and personalized care to children from infancy through adolescence.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough patient assessments to diagnose and treat surgical conditions in children. Perform surgical procedures on infants, children, and adolescents to correct deformities, treat injuries, and manage diseases. Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, including consultations with patients and their families to explain procedures, risks, and expected outcomes. Collaborate with pediatricians, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and effective patient care. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in pediatric surgery and integrate new techniques and practices as appropriate. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case discussions, and continuing medical education (CME) activities. Ensure all surgical procedures and patient care practices comply with hospital policies, standards, and regulatory requirements. Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines to enhance the quality and efficiency of pediatric surgical services. Engage in community outreach and education programs to promote pediatric health and well-being.

Qualifications: Medical degree (MBBS) and completion of a recognized residency program in General Surgery. Fellowship in Pediatric Surgery from a reputable institution. Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Surgery. Valid medical license to practice in Maharastra. Proven experience as a Pediatric Surgeon with a strong record of successful surgical outcomes. Exceptional manual dexterity, decision-making skills, and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in minimally invasive and laparoscopic pediatric surgical techniques. Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Fluency in Malayalam and English.
