Job Summary:
A leading multispecialty hospital in Jaipur, is seeking a qualified Interventional Radiologist to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital role in providing minimally invasive, image-guided procedures for a wide range of medical conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging procedures (X-ray, fluoroscopy, CT scan) to diagnose various medical conditions.
- Utilize image-guidance techniques to perform minimally invasive procedures such as:
Angiography and angioplasty for vascular diseases
Embolization for bleeding or tumors
Biopsies for tissue sampling
Drainage of abscesses or fluid collections
Stent placement
- Evaluate patients' medical history, symptoms, and laboratory findings to determine appropriate interventional radiology procedures.
- Assess patients' suitability for procedures and ensure informed consent.
- Collaborate with referring physicians, surgeons, and oncologists to plan and discuss treatment options.
- Perform interventional radiology procedures using image-guided techniques with a focus on accuracy, precision, and patient safety.
- Monitor patients after procedures, manage complications, and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, including procedure reports, patient progress notes, and other relevant documentation.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in interventional radiology technology and best practices.
Qualifications:
MD degree in Radiology with a DM or DNB in Interventional Radiology from a recognized institution.
Minimum 0 to 20 years of experience in a clinical setting performing a variety of interventional radiology procedures.
Board certification in Interventional Radiology by the National Medical Commision (NMC) is preferred.
Excellent clinical and communication skills.
Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
